Ability

On your 1st day, publicly guess up to 5 players' characters. That night, you learn how many you got correct.

Night Ritual (Storyteller Instructions)

Other Nights

"If today was the Juggler's first day: Show the hand signal for the number (0, 1, 2, etc.) of 'Correct' markers. Remove markers."

Strategy Guide

Playing As

  • Encourage the 'Julian Gambit': compel the town to reveal characters early to overload the Demon with targets and maximize your guesses.
  • Use your ability as a 'Vortox Check' by including yourself in the guesses; if you get a '0' despite guessing yourself correctly, a Vortox is likely in play.
  • Coordinate with other good players to bluff as Juggler on day 1, reducing the chance the Demon targets you before you learn your information.
  • Consider withholding the specific number you learned the next day to prevent the Evil team from deducing exactly which of their bluffs succeeded.
  • Guessing up to 5 players offers the highest reward but is fragile; guessing fewer players (or confirming known good players) can provide more reliable logic chains.

Playing Against

  • Bluff as the Juggler yourself to protect the real Juggler or to confuse the town about who to trust.
  • As a Minion, confidently lie about your character to the Juggler to throw off their integer count and sow doubt about good players.
  • If you are the Demon, determine if the Juggler's information is dangerous enough to kill them immediately, or if game conditions (like a Vortox or No Dashii) allow you to leave them alive with false info.
  • Use the Cerenovus to make the Juggler mad they are a different character, preventing them from publicly using their ability on day 1.
