Po
A Demon that can choose to kill no one at night to 'charge up' and kill three players the following night. This burst potential allows them to end games abruptly or mimic other demon types by manipulating kill counts.
Ability
Each night*, you may choose a player: they die. If your last choice was no-one, choose 3 players tonight.
Night Ritual (Storyteller Instructions)
Other Nights
"If the Po chose no-one the previous night: The Po points to three players. Otherwise: The Po either shows the 'no' head signal , or points to a player. Chosen players die"
Strategy Guide
Playing As
- Decide whether to kill consistently (1/night) to mimic a Pukka or Zombuul, or charge for a burst of 3 kills.
- Use your 'charge' night (choosing no-one) to bluff being blocked by an Exorcist, Innkeeper, or Courtier.
- Wait until the player count is low (around 5-6) to unleash a triple kill, potentially ending the game instantly.
- If you choose no-one, claim to be a character that might explain the lack of deaths, such as a Soldier or Sailor.
Playing Against
- Track night death patterns closely; a night of zero deaths followed by three is the signature Po tell.
- Be extremely cautious when 5 or 6 players are alive, as a charged Po can wipe the town and win immediately.
- Do not assume a night of no deaths is a Zombuul or successful protection; it is often a Po charging.
- Defensive characters like the Tea Lady, Innkeeper, and Fool are vital to surviving a triple-kill round.
