Ravenkeeper

TownsfolkTrouble Brewing

The Ravenkeeper is a deterrent character who gains the truth about a player's role only if killed at night. They typically bluff as high-threat Townsfolk to bait the Demon into activating their ability.

"If the Ravenkeeper died tonight: The Ravenkeeper points to a player. Show that player's character token."

Strategy Guide

Playing As

  • Bluff as a high-priority target (like Fortune Teller, Empath, or Undertaker) to tempt the Demon into killing you.
  • If you die, choose a player whose character is pivotal to the game's logic or who is acting suspiciously quiet.
  • You can choose a dead player to verify if they were telling the truth or if they were the Drunk, helping to solve the puzzle.
  • Be wary of the Spy and Recluse, as they can register as different characters and provide misleading information.
  • If you survive the whole game, use your status as a likely 'ignored' good player to lead voting, knowing the Demon feared your ability.

Playing Against

  • Avoid killing the Ravenkeeper at night at all costs; if they survive, they have no ability.
  • If a Spy is in play, identify the Ravenkeeper early to ensure the Demon does not accidentally target them.
  • If you are evil and bluffing Ravenkeeper, use a 'night death' (such as an Imp starpass) to validate a Minion or accuse a good player of lying.
  • If the Ravenkeeper dies and checks an evil player, accuse the Ravenkeeper of being Drunk or Poisoned to discredit their info.
