Ability
Each night, the 1st player to choose you with their ability is drunkHas no ability but thinks they do. The Storyteller feeds them false information. They cannot affect the game state. until dusk. You become their alignment.
Strategy Guide
Playing As
- Pay close attention to which nights your alignment changes; this tells you that the person who targeted you belongs to that alignment.
- You can choose to come out early to disrupt the game or stay hidden to silently soak up abilities and make players drunk.
- If you turn evil, consider getting yourself executed to lock in an extra vote for the evil team and potentially trigger a Godfather kill.
- Bluffing as a character the Demon wants to kill (like Tea Lady or Exorcist) can encourage them to attack you, turning you evil and protecting other players.
Playing Against
- Be wary of using information abilities like the Chambermaid on the Goon, as you will become drunk and receive false information.
- If you suspect the Goon has turned evil, executing them is often the safest play to remove a hidden evil vote and stop the alignment flipping.
- Track nights with no deaths; this often indicates a Demon attacked the Goon, was made drunk, and the Goon has turned evil.
- Be aware that the Goon might be bluffing as a powerful Townsfolk to tempt the Demon into attacking them.
Interactions
Choosing the Goon makes the Chambermaid drunk immediately, resulting in unreliable information about waking players.
