Soldier
A resilient Townsfolk who cannot be killed by the Demon, serving as a shield for the good team. Their primary goal is to bait the Demon into attacking them, thereby wasting a kill and buying the town more time.

Strategy Guide
Playing As
- Do not reveal your character publicly early on; if the Demon knows you are the Soldier, they will simply ignore you.
- Bluff as a high-priority target (such as Fortune Teller, Undertaker, or Empath) to trick the Demon into attacking you.
- Use a 'split bluff' strategy by telling some players you are a power role and others you are the Soldier to track leaks and bait attacks.
- If you survive an attack (no deaths occur), do not immediately claim it was you; let the Demon believe they hit a Monk-protected player so they might try again.
- If you die at night, you gain the information that you were likely Drunk or Poisoned (assuming you weren't executed).
Playing Against
- Avoid attacking the Soldier at night, as it results in no deaths and grants the good team an extra day of execution.
- If you are a Minion (like the Spy) who knows the Soldier's identity, communicate this to the Demon so they don't waste a kill.
- Bluffing as the Soldier is common for evil players since it requires no proof or information, but be ready to explain why you haven't died if the game goes long.
- To fake a Soldier bluff, the Demon can sink a kill into a dead player to make it look like the Soldier was attacked and survived.
- Be cautious of players claiming strong information roles (like Empath or Fortune Teller); they may be a Soldier baiting an attack.
Interactions
Can confirm the Soldier's identity early, allowing the Soldier to bluff aggressively as a different character to draw fire.
MonkIdeally, the Monk protects other players while the Soldier protects themselves; however, they can swap claims to confuse the Demon.
SpyThe Spy can see the Soldier's token and warn the Demon not to attack, effectively neutralizing the Soldier's ability.
PoisonerCan poison the Soldier, stripping their immunity and allowing the Demon to kill them, which can confuse the town regarding the cause of death.
DrunkA Drunk Soldier has no protection and will die if attacked, potentially leading the town to believe a different character died.
