Strategy Guide

Playing As

  • Encourage executions on protected targets (like Sailor or Tea Lady neighbors) to ensure no one dies during the day, allowing you to kill at night.
  • Consider attacking yourself at night to 'die' early; this gains you the trust of the town as a 'good' night-death victim while you play from the grave.
  • Coordinate with Minions like the Assassin or Godfather to supplement your low kill count and mask your identity.
  • Remain active and influential after 'dying'; use your trusted dead status to spread misinformation and frame living players.
  • Bluff as the Tinker or a victim of the Pukka to explain your death without raising suspicion.

Playing Against

  • Analyze death patterns; if night deaths only occur when no one died during the day, a Zombuul is likely in play.
  • Practice 'double tapping' by executing dead players again, especially those who died under suspicious circumstances.
  • Do not trust dead players implicitly, as the Zombuul hides in the graveyard and registers as dead.
  • Execute every day to prevent the Zombuul from waking and choosing a target at night.
  • Be aware that the game continues even with only two apparent living players if the Zombuul is 'dead' but active.
